I was born in 1970 and grew up in a middle class family in Saigon, Vietnam. I have one older brother and a younger sister who show no interest in Betta. Unlike my brother and sister, I have a special interest in "ca lia thia" (fighting fish or Betta). It seems that I can understand the betta 'language' and 'feelings'. By just looking at the fish's movements, I can 'feel' if it is hungry, happy, sad, sick, healthy, or etc.

Why I name my website as crazydogbetta ? Because my Bettas are mixed from Vietnamese, Thai, and Malaysian champion blood-lines. Bettas has the power and long sharp teeth, quickness, endurance, and beautiful hard metal scales. Betta has the aggressiveness of a crazy dog. It is aggressive to each other and some other kinds of fish. An adult male Betta is not afraid to attack a fish much larger than its size. Some male Bettas would fight with the other until dead.

I know two types of Betta in Vietnam. One is the wild type living in the rice fields or swamps that appears to be like Bettetta Imbellis. The other one is a domesticated type that appears to be like Betta Splendens. My Betta is the domesticated type.

I am both a betta wholesaler and retailer. You can order a few or hundred of fish. If you are the first time buyer and want to try the quality of my fish, you can order minimum five fish. I will tell you the price of each fish when I receive your order. Just like any wholesale bussiness, if you order a lot of fish, I will give you good discount and specials.
